Dawgs for Haiti

Dawgs for Haiti is the University of Georgia’s relief effort to raise money to support the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010. You can learn more about this campaign at dawgsforhaiti.uga.edu where you will find a secure, online donation system.

The goal of this student-initiated and operated campaign is to collect $50,000 from the Bulldog Nation. These proceeds will be divided evenly between the relief efforts of the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders.

Whether you decide to donate your time, energy or make a contribution, please consider helping us answer the call, finish the drill and make a difference in the lives of those who have so little in this time of overwhelming need.

For more information, to get involved and / or to make a contribution, please visit dawgsforhaiti.uga.edu.

First Thursday Dinners

What exactly is this, you ask? Well, it’s a great way for local alumni to get to know each other, make new friends and explore Chicago restaurants together. Here’s how it works: on the first Thursday of each month (mark your calendars now), we will select a restaurant, gather a group of Chicago Bulldogs and have dinner together. Very simple, very fun, and we hope to see you there!

LJ Wilhelmi ‘07 will be coordinating the First Thursday Dinners. Contact LJ at Louis.Wilhelmi@am.jll.com for locations and to RSVP. PLEASE make sure that you let LJ know if you are coming so that we plan for enough seats at the table!
