The Denver Alumni Chapter has coordinated a special golf outing at the Heritage Golf Course at Westmoor on Friday and a tailgate party that will make you think that you are in Athens. For information about the golf tournament click here.

New Student Send-Off

The Emerald Coast Alumni Club hosted their first New Student Send-Off for McKenzie Barr, a UGA transfer student, with a picnic at Camp Helen State Park.
Paws Across America
The club’s building crew took part in the Paws Across America National Volunteer Day on May 16 by participating in a Habitat build.
Dawgs Feeding Dawgs

The UGA Emerald Coast Club donated 144 lbs. of pet food to the Humane Society of Bay County during the 2nd annual “Dawgs Feeding Dogs Campaign.” Many thanks to the Wal-mart in Panama City Beach!

Jeff Weatherholtz ‘78 (Club President) and Ray McArthur ‘84 (Club Vice President) accepted the Most Improved UGA Alumni Association Club Award while participating in the 2007 Alumni Leadership Assembly in Athens.
2007 – 2008 Club of the Year

The Emerald Coast Club accepts the award for the 2007-2008 Club of the Year.
2006 – 2007 Chapter of Excellence

Tuquyen Mach ‘05, Betsy Jane Stout-Jones ‘81 and president Jeff Weatherholtz accepted the 2006-2007 Club of Excellence Award during the Alumni Leadership Assembly. Jeff Weatherholtz was named at the 2006-2007 Regional Volunteer of the Year.
