The Nashville Chapter is hosting a special Bulldog Breakfast Club with guest speaker Kevin Lavender ‘83 who holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the University of Georgia. The Nashville Chapter participated in the “Dawgs Feeding Dogs Campaign”, a nationwide UGA alumni community service project in honor of Uga’s 50 th anniversary, by collecting 844 pounds of pet food and donating it to the Nashville Humane Association. All tolled, the UGA chapters and clubs across the country collected and donated over 10,000 pounds to various no-kill shelters.

Members of the UGA Alumni Association Nashville Chapter volunteer at the 7th Annual Country Music Marathon by hosting a water station on mile 20.1 of the race. The volunteers included: Chapter President Kelly Smith ‘00, Sara Parrish ‘02, Heather Parker ‘00, Leighton Liles ‘05, Ken Mitchell ‘72, Kelley Johnson ‘98, Dan Hogan ‘98 and Leah Newman ‘04.

Becky and Jerry Hickson (Becky ‘74 and Jerry ‘73) hosted a group of Alternative Spring Break students for dinner at their house on 3/03.
