Dawgs for Haiti

Dawgs for Haiti is the University of Georgia’s relief effort to raise money to support the victims of the devastating earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010. You can learn more about this campaign at dawgsforhaiti.uga.edu where you will find a secure, online donation system.

The goal of this student-initiated and operated campaign is to collect $50,000 from the Bulldog Nation. These proceeds will be divided evenly between the relief efforts of the Red Cross and Doctors Without Borders.

Whether you decide to donate your time, energy or make a contribution, please consider helping us answer the call, finish the drill and make a difference in the lives of those who have so little in this time of overwhelming need.

For more information, to get involved and / or to make a contribution, please visit dawgsforhaiti.uga.edu.

Dawgs Feeding Dawgs

The UGA Denver Alumni Club collected and donated over 130 pounds of food to the MaxFund Animal Adoption Center. This was in conjunction with the nationwide Dawgs Feeding Dogs Campaign in honor of Uga’s 50th anniversary as Georgia’s mascot. Alumni groups across the country contributed over 10,500 pounds to their local no kill shelters.
