The Georgia Theatre is currently closed due to a fire that happened on Friday June 19. The owner of The Laughing Skull Lounge (Marshall Chiles) is very close to the owner of The Georgia Theatre (Wilmot Greene).
When Robert Schimmel had to cancel this weekend at The Laughing Skull Lounge, Marshall decided to turn this coming weekend into a fundraiser for his buddy. Granted, Wil needs a lot more than what we will raise, but this is a way for people to give back to a legendary music venue and a great guy.
These comedy shows are hosted by Marshall Chiles and feature 10+ comedians doing 5-6 minutes each. So get your tickets now to see a great show and help support the rebuilding of The Georgia Theatre. To get your tickets, go to: www.vortexcomedy.com

The two books’ unique, cutting edge attributes include: (1) critical aspects of the neuroscience that underlies various aspects of forming and maintaining loving relationships (e.g., “the brain in love,” how the brain processes and represents sex, love, emotional regulation and relationship management); (2) “new age” issues (e.g., the economy; internet dating); (3) vignettes of real individuals and couples from the authors case files; and (4) figures and diagrams that clearly illustrate the concepts presented and discussed.
The books’ authors, with many years of experience as psychologists, professors and scholars, conceptualize loving relationships and improving them as representing developmental processes that are best seen as a kind of ongoing and ever-evolving “dance” between two individuals – relationships are not events! Reading these books will contribute to, enrich and enhance any individual’s or couple’s developmental processes… and especially themselves and their loving relationships.
William G. Emener earned his Ph.D in Education from UGA in 1971. Dr. Emener is a Distinguished Research Professor at the University of South Florida, Tampa , and for 33 years had a private practice as a Licensed Psychologist. He believes that, “A human being’s loving relationships, past present and future, constitute a major aspect of his or her life — what can be more important than knowing more about them.”
