Nancy Pliska Robinson

Dr. Nancy Robinson is President and Chief Executive Officer of TechLearnIT, Inc. (formerly Tech-Knowledge Learning Centers). TechLearnIT is a nonprofit charitable organization committed to bridging the digital divide™ by providing Internet access, computer skills, and technical knowledge to girls (grades 6-12) and predominately single, female heads of household in underserved communities in DeKalb and surrounding counties in Georgia. TechLearnIT’s new facility in Decatur, Georgia meets the technology and educational needs of approximately 14,507 minority females and their families in the community. Dr. Robinson attended the University of Georgia in Athens and received her doctoral degree in Occupational Studies with a concentration in Instructional Technology and Educational Leadership. She completed post doc graduate courses at Texas Tech University in curriculum design in Instructional Technology. She was an inductee of Delta Epsilon Iota, Kappa Delta Pi, Pi Lambda Theta International Honor Societies, and Golden Key National Honor Society in education. Dr. Robinson has extensive experience in the workforce in accounting and finance with companies located in Texas, Louisiana, and Alabama. She has taught business and computer related courses at high schools and technical colleges in Georgia. She currently serves on the Board of Advisors for the Alliance for Digital Equality. In addition, she serves on committees for the American Business Women’s Association – Golden Dome Chapter and the Atlanta Urban League Guild.
