Megan Sparks Megan L. Sparks is Coordinator of Programs at Leadership Atlanta, a forty year-old nonprofit organization nationally recognized for its excellence in leadership development and community issues education. She creates, plans, organizes, markets, and produces all programs for Leadership Atlanta class members. In addition, Megan plans and produces all programs for L.E.A.D. Atlanta, Leadership Atlanta’s initiative for young professionals in Metro Atlanta.
Megan graduated from Davidson College in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts in History. While there, she completed extensive advocacy work in mental health and wellness. She served as the founding president of Changing Minds, the area’s first student-run mental health advocacy and awareness organization. She continued her passion for service as a graduate student at the University of Georgia, where she earned her Master of Public Administration with concentrations in civil society and nonprofit management in 2008. Megan is an Athens, GA native.
