Heather Owens

Heather Owens is a May 2008 graduate of the Terry College with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. She works at Marsh, an insurance brokerage in Buckhead, where she is a Risk Analyst in Casualty Advisory working on Global Risk Management accounts.

While at UGA, Heather was a member of the Redcoat Band, Southeast District President for Kappa Kappa Psi, a member of Gamma Iota Sigma, Insurance Society, Leadership UGA and a Leonard Leadership Scholar in the Terry College Institute for Leadership Advancement.

Since graduation, Heather has participated in numerous UGA Alumni Association events. She serves as a reading mentor at Dresden Elementary School, co-chaired her company's United Way campaign, is co-chairing her company's blood drive and remains involved in the fraternity Kappa Kappa Psi, National Honorary Fraternity for College Bandmembers.
