Keith Herndon

Herndon is president of Internet Decisions, a market research and planning firm. Prior to starting the business, Herndon held several executive posts including Vice President of Operations, interim CIO and later Vice President of Planning and Product Development at Cox Interactive Media. He was Director of Operations at Cox Radio Interactive and Administrative Editor at The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Herndon led numerous business development and technology initiatives for Cox and managed several strategic partnerships with companies such as Yahoo and Amazon. He was active in Cox’s corporate venture funding, leading technical due diligence efforts and served on the board of directors of Enkia Corp., a Cox investment recipient. Herndon was also President of a business incubator and General Manager of a private equity-backed e-commerce fulfillment company. Herndon began his career as a business reporter and editor. In a return those roots, Herndon recently partnered with Innovations Publishing on two books that are compilations of expert interviews. “Raising Capital When You Don’t Have a Silicon Valley Address” was released in October 2007 and “Entrepreneurs and Innovation: Creating Value with Emerging Technologies” was published in October 2008. Herndon has a bachelor's degree in journalism from the University of Georgia and a master's degree from the University of Oklahoma. He also completed an economic journalism fellowship at the University of Missouri.
